Kapa Nui Nails Return & Refund Policy
Please review our return policy below before making your purchase.
Our policy lasts 30 days from your original purchase date. If 30 days have passed, we unfortunately cannot accept your return, refund, or exchange.
Color Expectations: We cannot accept returns or refunds for colors that do not meet personal preferences. We make every effort to display true colors through accurate photography, descriptive text, and real customer photos to assist you in your selection.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return and refund, your items must meet the following criteria:

Direct Purchase: The item must have been purchased directly from kapanuinails.com. (If purchased through a third-party retailer, please contact that specific store for their policy).

Condition: Items must be unopened, unused, and in the exact same condition you received them.

Complete Sets: No partial refunds or exchanges are allowed on Starter Sets or Collections.

Non-Refundable Items: Gift cards, used items, items returned after 30 days, and final sale items.
How to Process a Return
Please do not ship items back to us without completing these steps first:

Email Us: Send an email to aloha@kapanui.com with your order number and the reason for the return (attach photos if applicable).

Get Authorization: Wait for a confirmation email from us authorizing your return. You will be provided with the return shipping address at this time.

Pack Securely: Package your items securely and include your original order form inside the box.

Ship and Track: Mail your package to the authorized address. Once shipped, email us your tracking number.

Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. Shipping fees from your original order are non-refundable unless your items arrived damaged from the delivery service.
Refunds & Processing

Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm receipt and notify you if your refund has been approved or rejected.

Credit: If approved, your refund (excluding original shipping fees) will be automatically credited back to your original method of payment.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund is approved but you haven't seen it yet, please follow these steps before contacting us:

Check your bank account

Contact your credit card company; it can take several days for a refund to officially post.

Contact your bank; there is often an internal processing time. Please allow up to one month for the credit to clear.

Exchanges & Sale Items

Sale Items: Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges: We only replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. If you need a direct exchange for the same item, please email us at aloha@kapanui.com.
